actually it was a few days ago, but there a catch it doesn't have a mic yet so i have to get one separately, that's means i still have to use my iPod Skype till i get a mic. anyone have suggestions for a good PC mic for general uses as well as voice acting

Well it depends on what your price range is. I recommend the Samson C03 for $100. Extremely good quality usb mic for what you pay for.
